How is it going in 2016/2017 for the Hedonism II?
So, Hedonism II is still alive, despite the sale by SuperClubs, but if we are honest, Hedo 2 under SuperClubs was on a descending branch.
There were no more investments, the food was often criticized by our customers and the rooms, well, they were on the standard of a motel. But there was also one good thing at Hedo II under SuperClubs, with partial under 100.- USD per person, all-inclusive, it was very cheap.
The price / performance ratio in some rooms just barely balanced. Rooms without / or with broken air conditioning, shabby and / or old interior were for the expensive rooms in the hotel however not a good deal. Now, another wind blows, as the new owners have recently renovated the Hedo 2. Rooms with new balconies and terraces, air conditioning, minibar, free Wi-Fi, new entrance and new restaurants are the essential features of the, now almost new, Hedonism 2 Resort, which was also renovated.
Hedonism 2 has improved in many places
The Hedonism II has a total of 280 rooms, of which 36 have already been completely renovated and become (more expensive) premium rooms.
The remaining rooms are so-called Classic rooms, which are the former standard rooms, were reworked and unfortunately also more expensive.
The renovations were limited to the "most necessary", a little color, other fabrics and the already mentioned minibar, air conditioning and flat screen TV. Also the hotel Hedonism 2 itself was improved in many places.
A new lobby, improved beach grill and the backyard was newly designed. The restaurants have received a new color design as well as a new concept for the kitchens.
Hedonism is a 4 star Resort for Couples and Singles!
As we often read and see was the Hedonism II at once from 3 stars to 4 stars, some even believe it its 5 stars.
This is of course absolute nonsense, Hedonism II is probably on the basis of the performed work a 4 star hotel, but still not a 5 star hotel.
Hedonism 2 serves better food
Yes, read correctly, better food. The food pretenders were often semi-hot buffets. Today the Hedo presents itself with really good food, a rich selection and plenty of premium drinks *, as usual all-inclusive, except for a few exceptions, like the premium sushi, here it comes to payments, which are moderate for a hotel. Sushi is also included in the room rate. From Japan imported sake or ingredients as well as elaborately prepared food one, if you want to have, unfortunately pay extra. The map can be found here: Premium Sushi.
* Often, ingredients for cocktails were not available, either because they had to be imported or gone out.
